Milton Keynes Kingston Library

Milton Keynes Kingston Library

The relocated Kingston Library is now open in Milton Keynes.

The new library has been purpose built to meet the needs of all sections of the community and the interior designs and layouts were developed by Demco Interiors, with the project team, to accommodate the needs of disabled people, family groups and children.

Initial response has been overwhelming with visitors to the library loving the layout, colours and furnishings. There was an overwhelming attendance at the first Children’s Hour when the library is open exclusively to parents and children. Teens were arriving after school to work and sit on the funky furnishings and there was a surge in new members joining and lapsed members reactivating their cards.

The hig spec meeting pod, from Demco, is attracting a lot of interest as is the bar height meeting space with digital screen and its own open shut kitchenette.

Free unlimited Wif Fi throughout, self service and power sockets everywhere.
